Business case training

Learn the essentials of a successful business case that cuts through, convinces and delivers.

This popular and interactive event illustrates key principles for best practice business case development. The event provides an overview of business case fundamentals from a highly experienced ex Senior Department of Treasury and Finance advisor.

The course will guide participants to build skills in developing robust, evidence based and compelling arguments around problems and benefits of an investment. It also describes methodologies for considering response and project options and developing a robust solution. Finally, it describes a way to construct a road map for successful investment delivery.

The session includes a number of practical exercises where participants will build their knowledge and skills in the theory and application of these key business case skills. Where possible case studies for these workshops will be developed using materials of the participating organisation. If impractical, Ideas Advisory will supply generic case studies sourced from all over Australia.

This course is typically run as an in-house awareness raising session to support just in time learning and future business case development.
